Modern Lifestyle Illnesses
Depression
Depression is quite complicated. It comes down to a reduced amount of serotonin produced in the intestines (1). Many other neurotransmitters are also involved, which experience imbalance due to a lack of nutrients and due to mild imbalances in other parts of the body. If we add to this the toxicity of mental health problems that cannot be physically examined, we can say that there is more than one cause of depression (1). The primary treatment of depression includes antidepressants (2). Antidepressants can serve as a bridge that will direct the person from the place where they are struggling towards the firmer ground (2). Like any drug, antidepressants should be neutralized and eliminated by the liver. This means that in part they also contribute to the toxic load which even further strains the body (3). Valera Vita BICOM treatments affect the intestines and initiate their recovery and self-healing powers which leads to the production of a normal amount of serotonin. Restoring serotonin levels to optimal levels is closely linked to the loss of depressive symptoms and the creation of a new, brighter perception of the world (2).
Insomnia
If a body is under too much stress, it can lead to insomnia which subsequently leads to a lack of energy and fatigue (4). Insomnia is caused by toxins in the body that interfere with the normal functioning of the brain and organism (4). With the help of Valera Vita BICOM treatments, we look for the causes of symptoms and relieve the brain by helping the body to eliminate the toxins and restore its balance. With the anti-stress program, you can ease your daily overload so that you can withstand new work challenges. Insomnia can also be affected by negative geopathological radiation, which with constant vibrations disturbs the peace in our body, necessary for good sleep quality (5).
Headaches
An organism filled with various toxins is one of the main problems of the modern lifestyle. If the body is not able to cleanse itself and get rid of toxins it must somehow signal that something is wrong. Toxins cause problems in the blood and create pressure on the meninges directly triggering inflammation (6). With BICOM treatment, we help the body to release toxins on its own and restore the much-needed balance.
STRESS
Stress, especially if prolonged, depletes the immune system (7). The response to stress in the body is that the normal secretion of the digestive system becomes more acidic, and peristalsis becomes less frequent, which threatens the good bacteria (8).
SOME MYTHS ABOUT STRESS:
Myth 1: “Everybody experiences stress the same way.” Each of us feels stressed out differently. What is stressful to one person may or may not be stressful to another. E.g. Inviting friends to dinner can be stressful for some, while for others it is entertaining and relaxing.
Myth 2: “Stress is never good.” Stress to life is what the tension of a string is to a violin – if it is not tense enough, the music is not melodic and does not sound right; if it is too tense, the music is too strong or the string breaks. Stress can be the kiss of death or spice of life. It is up to us to manage it.
Myth 3: “Stress is everywhere and there is nothing we can do about it.” We can always do something. The first step is to take a humorous approach, which will lighten the burden and help us get rid of stress rationally.
Myth 4: “If there are no symptoms, there is no stress.” Do not be fooled. Lack of symptoms does not mean a lack of stress. In fact, by covering the symptoms with medication, you may have removed the warning signs, indicators that there is no improvement or that the condition is getting even worse (9).
Myth 5: “Only the main symptoms of stress require attention.” Minor symptoms such as headaches, back pain, or heartburn should not be ignored (9). They warn us that our body is no longer in balance and that changes are needed.
Know that stress and anxiety are a normal part of life, but do not worry so much that you cannot enjoy it.
